Wildlife and Backwater Tour

Day 01: Arrive Bangalore
On your arrival to Bangalore, India, you will be received by our representative and transferred to the hotel of your choice. After unwinding there, you will take some rest and in the afternoon, after having your lunch, you are free to enjoy the beauty of the Garden City of Bangalore according to your Wildlife and Backwater Tour Package. In the evening, you will come back to the hotel and will stay overnight at the hotel after having your dinner.

Day 02: Bangalore - Bannerghatta - Bangalore
On the 2nd day of your tour, you will go to enjoy a wild adventure in Bannerghatta National Park after having your breakfast in the hotel only. This park is an exclusive repositioning area for tigers and lions rescued from circuses in any state of India. Here you can see them within the 25,000 acres of the Bannerghatta National Park in firmly fenced area. You will be able to see the tigers, lions, leopards, elephants, various species of deer and other animals on safari tours within the park. The other famous tourist attractions are reptile house, Snake Park and children's corner on a wild adventure tour of Bannerghatta National Park. You will come back to the hotel in the evening and will stay overnight at the hotel after having your dinner.

Day 03: Bangalore - Mysore
In the morning of Day 3 of your tour, you will have your breakfast in the hotel and then you will leave for the exclusive backdrop of Mysore - the "Scotland of India." Once you arrived there, you will check in to the hotel, will refresh yourself and then you will go to visit the Mysore Palace, Chamundi hills, Brindavan Gardens which are towering over the city. It is a site to be appreciated. The presence of musical fountains and colorful lights convert this place into a fairyland. In the evening, you will come back to the hotel and stay overnight after having your dinner.

Day 04: Mysore - Ranganathittu - Mysore
On the Day 4 of your tour, you are planned to spend your full day in a pleasure trip to Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary which is situated on the banks of the Kaveri River. You will enjoy many species of birds including storks, herons, cormorants, egrets, darters, kingfishers and other water birds here. There are six islets which comprise the sanctuary and you will find crocodiles and otters in the water surroundings in the islets. You will also find a charming Balmurli Falls. It is also famous among the tourists as it has a picturesque image. You can go for a boat ride in the Kaveri River to see the inhabitant and migrant birds nesting and feeding in the sanctuary. You will stay overnight at the hotel after having your dinner.

Day 05: Mysore - Nagarhole
On the Day 5, you will drive to Nagarhole wildlife sanctuary which is in south of Mysore. You will arrive there and check in to the Tourist camp / lodge. You will stay overnight at the Wild camp.

Day 06: Nagarhole
On the Day 6, you will enjoy a full day's game viewing in Nagarhole National Park after your breakfast. There you will see gaur, various deer including sambar and chital, elephants and a leopard or tiger. You can also find other animals like monkeys, squirrels and many species of birds. You will stay overnight at the Wild Camp only.

Day 07: Nagarhole - Bandipur
Now on the 7th Day, you will travel to East from Nagarhole on your way to Bandipur National Park. You will arrive there and check in to the jungle cottage. You will stay overnight in the jungle cottage.

Day 08: Bandipur
On the Day 8th of your tour, again you are planned to spend your full day in enjoying a full day's jungle tour in Bandipur National Park. Here you can visit the elephants, gaur, different species of deer, monkeys, porcupine, many varieties of birds, monitor lizards, sloth bear, civet cats and leopards and tigers etc. Again you will come back to the jungle cottage in the evening and stay overnight.

Day 09: Bandipur - Ooty
You will drive to Ooty, a beautiful hill station in Tamil Nadu on the 9th Day of your wildlife and backwater tour. On arriving there, you will check in to the hotel. In the afternoon, you will visit the Botanical garden, Doddabetta Park, and tea plantations. Then for the emaining day, you will go for the excursion to a Toda Tribal village. There you will see the life of the Toda people. These people are very close to the nature. Here you will find handicrafts and hand woven shawls in bright red, white and black colors which will make your journey interesting. You will come back in the evening and stay overnight in the hotel after having your dinner.

Day 11: Ooty - Cochin
On the Day 11, after having your breakfast in the morning, you will drive to Cochin - "Queen of the Arabian Sea" from Ooty. On arriving there, you will check into the hotel. In the evening, you will go to see a traditional Kathakali Dance show. After coming back, you will, have your dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 12: Cochin
After having your breakfast in the morning, you will leave to visit Jewish Synagogue. It was built in 1568 and is the oldest synagogue in the commonwealth stands, adorned by hundreds of exquisite hand painted Chinese tiles in blue and white. Then, you will go to visit St. Francis Church which is originally built out of wood in 1503 and thus earning fame as the oldest European church in India. After that, you will visit The Dutch Palace - as you climb its stone steps you enter a different world of palanquins and heraldry, and rich murals. Roam about in the cobbled streets, you will love it. Come back to the hotel in the evening and stay overnight after having your dinner.

Day 13: Cochin - Periyar
On the Day 13 of your Backwater wildlife trip package, you will drive to Periyar wildlife sanctuary after having your breakfast in the hotel. On arriving there, you will check in to the hotel. You will relax there and in the evening, you will go out to enjoy a boat ride in the lake. You can also enjoy of viewing other animals coming to the bank of that lake to drink and bathe. After enjoying those precious moments, you will come back to the hotel and stay overnight after having your dinner.

Day 14: Periyar
The Day 14 is again planned in exploring the Periyar wildlife sanctuary. You will see elephants, deer, monkeys, squirrels, porcupines and many different kinds of birds. You can also sight a tiger in the thick bushes of the sanctuary. You will come back in the evening and stay overnight at the hotel after having your dinner.

Day 15: Periyar - Kovalam
On the morning of Day 15, you will drive to Kovalam after having your breakfast. Kovalam is known for its beautiful and heavenly beaches. You will arrive there and check into the hotel and relax. Then, stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 16: Kovalam
You will spend whole of your day in relaxing on the beautiful Kovalam beaches. You will enjoy the weather there and in the evening, you will come back to your hotel, will have your food and stay overnight.

Day 17: Kovalam - Cape Comorin - Kovalam
Same as on the Day 16th, you will leave for a full Day outing to Cape Comorin after having your breakfast in the morning. Come back to the hotel in the evening and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 18: Kovalam - Thiruvananthapuram - Delhi / Mumbai
Next morning, you will be transferred to Airport in Thiruvananthapuram for the flight to Delhi or Mumbai to board a connecting International flight back to your home.
