On the first day of your tour you will appear in the capital of India, Delhi. From the airport Erco Travels representative will assist you to hotel and will transfer you to your desired room according to your Golden Triangle Tour with Buddhist Places. Overnight: Hotel
You will start your city sightseeing with our guide after breakfast. Move to visit the massive Red Fort; situated in the old Delhi region which was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. In front of the fort, you can witness India's largest mosque, Jama Masjid, which can hold 25,000 worshippers at a time. In the evening, move to the biggest Hindu temple, Akshardham temple and will watch the musical fountain shows. Overnight: Hotel
Get ready to take a long drive to the "Pink City" of India, Jaipur, early in the morning. As you reach the city, you will be transferred to one of the finest hotels of the city. At leisure, you can go for shopping in the nearby market as gems and jewellery are widely available in its famous Johari Bazaar. Overnight: Hotel
As you finished your breakfast, you will proceed for the massive Amber Fort; situated at a distance of 11 km from the city. On the route, you will visit the five-storied red sandstone Hawa Mahal which is also referred as "Palace of Wind". Sitting on the back of a giant elephant, you will reach the gates of Amber Fort. The fort has a beautiful garden, Palace of Man Singh, Mirror Palace and much more that boosts up the beauty of the fort. Leave for Agra with fresh mood enrooting Fatehpur Sikri. This imperial capital was constructed by Mughal Emperor Akbar which now has been listed World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. Upon arrival at Agra, you will be transferred to hotel to get some refreshment. In the evening, you will move to visit the Taj Mahal, it is most beautiful monument and also a important part of your buddhist places with golden triangle trip, spend couple of hours in watching the panoramic view of the tomb and after that come back to hotel to spend the night.
Early morning, you will be taken to the nearest airport of the city. Catch a flight and take off to Varanasi. This is the most sacred city in India; situated on the bank of River Ganges. Check-in at hotel and after that proceed for half day city sightseeing. Varanasi is popularly known for the most famous Kashi Vishwanath temple which is the incarnation of Lord Shiva and some religious Ghats. Pay your homage to the deity and return to hotel to spend a comfortable night.
Early morning take a religious bath in its holy ghats and enjoying boat riding watch the religious rituals on its famous ghats like Hanuman ghats, Manikarnika ghat etc. Later, you will visit some other temples like Durga temple and Alamagir Mosque. Overnight: Hotel
Take morning breakfast and drive to one of the most famous Buddhist places of worship, Sarnath. This is the place where Lord Buddha delivers his first sermon. The place is dotted with several Buddhist monuments, which were built in 3rd century. After that, you will visit some other Buddhist pilgrimage sites namely Rajgir, Nalanda, Sapta Pari Cave, etc. Rajgir is the most famous place of the city where Lord Buddha spent his 12 years of life. Nalanda once was the most important Buddhist learning and educational institute of the country. Come back to hotel and enjoy your dinner. Overnight board train to Bodhgaya
Early morning, you will reach Bodhgaya; check-in at hotel and take rest for a while. Bodhgaya is a religious site and is dotted with several religious temples. Visit the great Buddha statue. The huge statue is seated on a giant lotus in open air which is surrounded by numerous religious spiritual monuments and temples. Later, you will visit Bodhi tree; this is the tree where Lord meditated. Overnight: Hotel
Today, you will leave for Kushinagar via Vaishali. Vaishali, the small city of Bihar is known for its incredible rich past. The town plays a great role in development and expansion of Jainism and Buddhism. When you are at this place you should visit the Pillar of Ashoka; the pillar is most famous all over India. Continue your drive to Kushinagar. As you reach the city, you will be transferred to hotel. Overnight: Hotel
Early morning, you will be transferred to the nearest airport from where you will take a flight and fly for Lumbini, Nepal. As you reach the city you will be transferred to hotel. Lumbini is known as the birthplace of Lord Buddha. Here you can see a range of Buddhist Stupas and monasteries. Maya Devi temple is the most famous shrine at this place which you should take a look. After come back to hotel and spend the night.
Kapilavastu is a prominent pilgrimage destination where Lord Buddha spent his 29 years of age after his birth. Here, you can explore mostly visited Ashoka's Pillar and several Buddhist's stupas and monasteries. At noon, you will drive to Balrampur and stop at Sravasti. Here, you can see Jetavana Monastery, which has been ruined and is an important Buddhist pilgrimage. Check in at hotel and enjoy your dinner. Overnight: Hotel
Take breakfast at hotel and get ready to take a long drive to Lucknow. In the evening, you will reach the city. Upon arrival check-in at hotel and take rest. Overnight: Hotel
Get up early in the morning and move for city sightseeing. Here, you will see some famous tourist attractions like Rumi Darwaza, Bara Imambara and Husainabad Clock Tower. Come back to hotel and enjoy dinner. Overnight: Hotel
